Planning a vacation is especially hard if you’re working for a call center. You have only a limited time for your vacation leave so it’s got to be worth it. What’s more, you have to adjust your sleeping pattern to enjoy your vacation like “regular” people. There’s also the money to consider. Below are some budget-friendly vacation spots for call center agents all over the Philippines.

Luzon

The perfect combination camping and beachin’ for your ultimate budget-friendly vacation. Anawangin and Nagsasa Cove is slowly becoming a popular vacation spot in the recent years. You can trek their woods by day and enjoy a bon fire during the night. After the sunrise, you can hit up the beach and try different activities such as Skimboarding, Island Hopping and over course, swim to your heart’s content in the pristine waters. Not many tourist frequent here so there’s an added pro of not many people in the area. It’s also cheaper than going to a resort.

Taal Volcano

For those who do not like the beach, you can always head over to Tagaytay and try your hand at climbing the mouth of Taal Volcano. You can also trek at night! It’s certainly a task worth experiencing. Besides trekking you can camp on the grounds, go for horse-back riding, go yachting and so much more.

 

Visayas

Siquijor

It’s well known for its magic and mystery. Siquijor is quite small for a province but it promises a lot of destinations and activities for the short period of time that you are there. It’s a hidden Eden tucked away in an island with caves, diving spots, waterfalls and more gorgeous beaches that you could ever hope for. It’s also quite cheaper than going to famous locations like Boracay or Palawan. There’s also relatively less people and tourists to contend with.

Mararison Island

Quite popular for call center agents for their team building activites, Mararison/Malalison offers the ultimate getaway from the hectic office life. You can experience being one with nature with an awesome view to boot. It takes a ride in a small boat to get to the island. The seafood is fantastic and cheap. It’s the perfect place to unwind and detach yourself from technology. And if you’re lucky, the local children can sing for you.

 

Mindanao

Tawi-Tawi

It’s the Philippines southernmost province. It’s a stunning combination of mountains and islands. Most popularly known for their diving spots and underwater caves, Tawi-Tawi is also quite famous for barkada outings. A lot of young people especially coming from major cities frequent these islands for a few days of relaxation. It’s a place for brave souls who would like to check a few things off their bucket lists through mountain climbing, diving, braving the great outdoors.

Surigao

Surigao is divided into Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur. Either place is a good destination for that budget-friendly vacation. Both places offer stunning caves, a lot of diving spots, rivers, waterfalls, beaches as far as the eye can see and a splash of culture that is unique to Mindanao. There is no limit to the amount of activity that you can have while being in Surigao. You’d only wish for more time.
