Microsoft Corp. recognized outstanding contributions of their suppliers including two BPO companies during the 15th Annual Microsoft Supplier Program (MSP) Summit on Microsoft’s main corporate campus in Redmond, Wash. The two business outsourcing (BPO) companies were Infosys and Techno Brain.
Among the six recipients of awards which were nominated by employees of Microsoft in various business units.
Their awards proved that BPO companies in the industry continue to give outstanding contributions to their clients and partner corporations.
Their excellence in a number of areas, including quality, value, service and innovation was the basis for such awards.
Moreover, the MSP Excellence Awards recognize superior performance, exemplary service and innovation by their suppliers that demonstrate what it means to be a preferred supplier at Microsoft.
According to Microsoft, the purpose of the MSP is to build long-term relationships with a select group of strategic suppliers that create long-term value for their corporation. The Excellence Awards they gave recognize their suppliers’ superior performance, exemplary service and innovation.
“Our suppliers’ commitment to excellence, innovation and collaboration continues to impress us. The award recipients delivered high-impact results and contributed to the success of Microsoft.” said Mike Simms, general manager and chief procurement officer at Microsoft.
Techno Brain BPO ITES, a certified business process outsourcing and IT-enabled services division of the Techno Brain Group, received the 2016 Impact Sourcing Leadership Award. The judges for this award were “impressed with Techno Brain’s extreme social impact that helped Microsoft produce high-quality products.”
On the other hand, Infosys Ltd. which is a global leader in consulting, technology, and outsourcing was recognized for its leadership on climate change. This company which offers Microsoft not only business process outsourcing but also application development and maintenance, application testing, package implementation and customizations, etc. impressed the judges on their “collaboration with partners in industry, academia and government as well as their proposal to work jointly on reducing Microsoft’s environmental footprint.”
Other companies which also received MSP Excellence Awards were Amaxra (Recipient of the 2016 Supplier Diversity Award), Moravia (Recipient of the 2016 Supplier of the Year Award, Large), Cartus, (Recipient of the 2016 Supplier of the Year Award, Medium), and Anrui Digital (Recipient of the 2016 Supplier of the Year Award, Small).
